Sam Edwards 

Sam is a freelance investigative journalist and writer who has worked from Spain, Chile and Mexico and is based in the UK. He has been a correspondent for Reuters and Bloomberg Industry, and his work has also appeared in The Guardian, Foreign Affairs and The Nation, among others. He has worked on grant projects for the European Journalism Centre and the Pulitzer Centre. More info

Rudo Kemper

Rudo is a geographer and technologist with over a decade of experience supporting Indigenous and other local communities in mapping and monitoring their lands and developing digital tools that strengthen community autonomy and self-determination. His work has included partnerships and fieldwork across the Amazon, Caribbean, North America, East Africa, and Melanesia, as well as the development and stewardship of platforms including Terrastories, the Earth Defenders Toolkit, Native Land Digital, and Guardian Connector. He currently directs the Indigenous Guardianship Program at Conservation Metrics, where he works with Indigenous organizations and partners to develop open-source data infrastructure and provide ongoing technical support for community-led monitoring. He also works as a technical advisor and consultant on selected projects related to participatory mapping, data sovereignty, land rights, community-led monitoring, and open-source technology. More info

Hanieh Khosroshahi

Hanieh is a design consultant, participatory researcher, and community organiser working at the intersection of digital innovation, social and climate justice, gender equity, and community-led change. Specialising in human-centred design, she has over a decade of experience applying co-design, trauma-informed facilitation, and feminist principles to researching, designing, and implementing solutions, both online and offline. She has led multi-stakeholder projects across Canada, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and the SWANA region, partnering with NGOs, UN agencies, civil society networks, and grassroots community initiatives. Hanieh's work centres care, decoloniality, and lived experience, working alongside women, youth, activists, refugees, and marginalised communities to build the collective capacity needed to imagine and act toward lasting change. She is based in Glasgow, Scotland. More info

Marcel Llavero-Pasquina 

Marcel is a multidisciplinary researcher in the fields of business political ecology, ecological economics and molecular biology with a PhD from the University of Cambridge. He coordinates the Global Atlas of Environmental Justice (ejatlas.org) at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB) and co-directs the Atlas of Unburnable Fossil Fuels at the Faculty of Biology, UAB. His research explores what is the nature, objectives, strategy and behaviour of multinational companies in environmental conflicts, particularly, the role of the oil and gas industry in delaying the phase out of fossil fuels. More info

Eryn is the Founder of S​ēk Strategies, an international consultancy providing investigative and strategic services to civil society, governments, the media, and the private sector. She is a New York licensed attorney with over a decade combining her interest in law and finance to combat human rights abuses and environmental degradation. She has worked within labour rights, business and human rights, anti-corruption, and shareholder advocacy with her work making headlines in major media, including partnerships with ABC News and NBC News. Ramin is a full stack developer, creative technologist and data scientist. With 14 years in computer science, Ramin is a versatile technologist. Adrien Tofighi-Niaki 

Adrien is a climate, environmental justice, and corporate accountability consultant with 15 years of investigative and policy research experience. His work focuses on extractive industry supply chains, greenwashing, land rights, and community resilience, combining open-source research, data analysis, and participatory methods to produce rigorous outputs that drive civil society advocacy. He has collaborated with organisations globally, including the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB), Corporate Accountability, Global Witness, European Environmental Bureau, and the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED). His research has informed policy debates and global media reporting, with coverage in The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and Financial Times. Marion Veber 

Marion spent 10 years in the French civil society sector, notably as program director for an alter-globalization foundation. She has supported the work of global partners fighting against extractivism, biopiracy and the violation of their human rights. Marion has produced many publications for a social and decolonial ecology that contributed to prominent campaigns across France and at the UN level. Francisca Stuardo Vidal 

Francisca is a Chilean public policy and human rights consultant with over 14 years in environmental justice, feminist advocacy, and protecting human rights defenders. Francisca has led initiatives across Latin America, West Africa, and Southeast Asia, co-developed risk mitigation strategies, conducted field research in high-risk areas, and facilitated capacity-building initiatives. Her advocacy efforts have resulted in high-profile publications endorsed by UN and EU bodies. She has collaborated with over a hundred local organisations and international bodies, including UN Women, UNECA, UNDP, Lawyers Without Borders, Oxfam, Global Witness, and Center for Justice and International Law. Francisca holds a Master of Public Policy from the London School of Economics. She is fluent in Spanish and English, proficient in Haitian Creole, and has a basic understanding of French and Portuguese. More info
